ASCOMP Screencapt

ASCOMP Screencapt

Screen Recorder

Description

You just want to record a quick walkthrough, but first you have to dig through settings to get system audio and the microphone captured together, and then the cursor vanishes in the final clip. Screencapt puts all of that on one slim bar: recording area, audio sources, webcam, cursor and drawing tools, one click and it's recording, no manual required.

The point is to decide everything before you hit REC: full screen, a custom region or a single window, system sound and microphone as independent switches, an optional webcam overlay, and a highlighted cursor. Need it unattended? Schedule the recording and it starts on its own at the time you set.

Features

Three recording areas: full screen, a dragged custom region, or one window, so you don't have to crop afterwards.

Separate audio sources: system sound and microphone have their own switches. Both on for narrated tutorials, microphone off when you only want game or video audio.

Webcam picture-in-picture: record the webcam alongside the screen so presenter and content share one frame.

Cursor and annotation: show or hide the cursor, add a highlight effect, and use the drawing tool in the toolbar to circle what matters while you record.

Pause and resume: step away mid-recording and pick up again, with no dead air in the final clip.

Scheduled recording: set a start time and recording begins automatically, handy for catching a live stream or running unattended.
