Description
Jotting down a to-do means switching to Notion, waiting for it to load and finding the page, and by then the thought is gone. Brink turns that into a hover: a small black pill on the edge of your Mac screen that unfolds into your pinned Notion pages, and one click opens the panel.
The panel has a Notion-style editor where Markdown becomes to-dos, headings, toggles and code blocks. ⌥⇧Space opens quick capture that understands dates like “friday 5pm”, and pinned task databases keep their filters and can be ticked off on hover. It only talks to Notion, the token stays in the Keychain, and there is no account or tracking. MIT licensed, macOS 14 or later.
Notch on the edge:Left, right or top; hover to unfold your pinned pages.
Notion-style editor:Markdown turns into blocks, with a slash menu, drag reorder and pasted images.
Tasks:Pin a database with saved filters and sorts, snooze, set dates and see progress.
Quick capture:⌥⇧Space to note, ⌥⌘V to append the clipboard, “Send to Brink” in Share menus.
Glance without opening:Hover a pin to preview and tick items, plus a menu-bar list and desktop widget.
Customizable:Edge, display, accent color, hotkeys, groups and sounds.
Private:Only talks to the Notion API, token in Keychain, no analytics.
