Description
You step away for a few minutes and come back to a locked screen, a dropped download, a blacked-out presentation — all because the system decided you were "inactive". Move Mouse cures exactly that: it performs a small action at a set interval so the system always thinks you are there, no lock, no sleep, no dropped connection.
Open-source and free, on Windows. Light, single-purpose and flexibly configurable.
Simulate activity: move the mouse or send a keystroke automatically at a set interval in seconds so the system judges you active and stays out of lock and sleep.
Custom actions: beyond moving the mouse, it can run a program on a timer, send keystrokes or play a script, combined as needed.
Timing and schedules: set it to work only within a time window, or start during working hours and stop after.
Auto-pause on real input: it can pause the moment it detects you moving the mouse or keyboard yourself, so it stays out of the way.
Blackout and appearance: optionally dim the screen while running to save power, with a clean interface that sits quietly in the tray.
