Description
The browser’s own "Save page as" gives you an .html plus a folder of dozens of image and CSS files. Move it and the links break; open it two years later and it is a wall of missing images.
SingleFile inlines the whole page — images, stylesheets, fonts, frames — into one HTML file. One click on the extension icon and it is saved; the file opens in any browser exactly as it looked, with no extension installed and no dependence on the original site still existing.
It is open source (AGPL-3.0) with over twenty thousand GitHub stars, available for Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, and there is a command-line version for batch work.
