Highball

Highball

Run Windows games on Apple Silicon

Description

Playing Windows games on an M-series Mac usually means wrangling Wine, D3DMetal and DXVK, then still guessing whether a game runs and which renderer to use. Highball sets up the environment in one go, logs into Steam or connects Epic, and picks the renderer per game from an open compatibility database.

The CC0 database records verified runs, per-game renderer verdicts and a kernel anti-cheat blocklist, so you can check a game before downloading it. The app is free and open source for macOS 14+ on Apple silicon.
