Description
On a Mac a game controller usually only works with games that support it. InputConfig turns controllers, joysticks and MIDI gear into keyboard and mouse input, so a controller can drive the whole Mac, not just games. It is free, open source, and needs no drivers or account.
It also works as an accessibility tool: people who find a keyboard hard to use can run the computer with devices like the Xbox Adaptive Controller. The site offers ready-made presets for 450+ games and apps.
Wide device support:PS5 DualSense, DualShock 4, Xbox, Switch Pro, Joy-Con, 8BitDo, the Xbox Adaptive Controller, MIDI keyboards and any HID gamepad.
Any output:map every button, trigger and stick to keys, clicks, mouse motion, scroll, macros, MIDI, spoken phrases or system functions, and trigger Siri Shortcuts.
Not only controllers:keyboards, a second keyboard, extra mouse buttons, trackpad pressure, screen regions and MIDI gear work as inputs too.
Live visualizer:shows controller state, tunes DualSense trigger feel, and reads and switches stored profiles.
Preset library:450+ ready-made presets, or build your own from scratch.
