MouseServer

MouseServer

Phone as PC Remote Control

Description

Lying on the couch with a movie playing and the mouse out of reach, or presenting and wanting to walk around the room with only a PC plugged into the projector. MouseServer runs on the computer and, paired with its companion phone app, turns the phone into a touchpad, a keyboard and a gamepad.

There is no main window; it lives in the system tray, and its preferences show the PC's IP address and a random password. Enter them in the phone app on the same Wi-Fi and you are connected, on iOS or Android.

Features

Touchpad mode: swipe the phone screen to move the cursor, with taps and two-finger scrolling.

Keyboard input: type into the PC with the phone's keyboard.

Gamepad: use the phone as a button pad in games that support it.

Tiny: the installer is under 1 MB and sits in the tray using almost no resources.
