Description
A media library keeps growing, the disks fill up and sorting files is a chore. Ether takes another route: the server stores no media at all, uses the TMDB catalogue for metadata, and pulls streams live from your own debrid accounts or Usenet when you hit play.
On a single set of ports it can pose as Plex, Jellyfin, Emby, Silo and Stremio, so clients like Infuse and Swiftfin connect as usual. It is written in Go and self-hosts from one install.
Multi-client compatibility: Acts as a Plex, Jellyfin or Emby server so your existing apps keep working.
Streaming on demand: No downloading or organizing; sources are fetched when you play.
TMDB metadata: Posters, summaries and categories all come from the TMDB catalogue.
Admin console: Overview, viewers, household policies and smart collections in one place.
