MaxCut

MaxCut

Sheet Cutting Layout Optimizer

Description

How do you cut a sheet so the least ends up in the bin? Plan it by hand and you find half a sheet wasted after the last cut. That is the job MaxCut does: enter sheet sizes and a parts list and it works out the cutting plan that uses the most material, so the saw operator just follows the diagram.

It is built for cabinet makers and woodworking shops, and it prices the job too: materials, edging and labor roll into one quote, with the customer quote and the factory cut list coming out together. The Community Edition is always free.

Features

Optimal cutting layouts: Optimize for material yield or cutting speed and print diagrams a saw operator can follow.

Reusable cabinet templates: Save common cabinets once and drop them into later jobs.

Quotes and labels: Count sheets and costs automatically, then produce quotes, supplier order lists and part labels.

Customer and material library: Set up company, supplier, customer and material details once and reuse them.
