Description
Writing Rainmeter skins in a plain editor means staring at a screen of uncolored INI text where a mistyped variable hides in plain sight. RainLexer is a small Notepad++ plugin that adds syntax highlighting for Rainmeter skin files, with optional auto-completion.
The handy part: refresh the skin right from the plugin menu while editing, so changes show up on the desktop at once. Colors for user variables, comments, sections, defaults, options and invalid values can be tuned in the style configurator. Notepad++ must be installed first; the current version is 5.2.0.
INI syntax highlighting:separate colors for sections, variables, options and comments in skin files.
Auto-completion:an optional completion feature for bangs and options.
One-click skin refresh:choose Refresh Skin in the plugin menu and the skin you are editing updates.
Adjustable colors:change colors for user variables, values and invalid entries in the style configurator.
