Description
Hit EADDRINUSE when starting a local server and you dig up lsof -i :3000 and type kill -9 by hand, several times a day. PortRadar is a macOS menu-bar utility that lists every listening port on your Mac and kills a stuck process in one click.
It is native Swift, free and open source, and needs macOS 14 or later.
Live port radar: See the listening state of common ports like 3000, 5173, 8080, 5000, 5432 and 6379 right in the menu bar.
One-click kill: Send SIGTERM to end it gently or SIGKILL to force it, with no commands to type.
Stack detection: Tags ports as Next.js, Vite, Angular, Node.js, Bun, .NET, FastAPI, Go, Rust and more, and shows memory, CPU and PID.
Pinned watchlist: Pin your usual ports to the top with green and grey dots for listening or not.
Open and copy: Open the localhost URL in the browser or copy it in one click.
Global shortcut: Summon it anywhere with ⌃⌘P.
Install with Homebrew using brew tap joeystdio/tap then brew install --cask portradar, or download the DMG. MIT licensed.
