Description
OneNote is handy, but repetitive housekeeping is still manual: reformatting in bulk, importing files in batches, moving pages into place by rule, all of it clicked through dozens of times. Onetastic is an extension for OneNote that lets you record those steps as macros: write and run macros inside OneNote and let it repeat the routine work for you.
The official site shows a Macro Editor for writing and debugging your own macros, a Batch File Import feature and a calendar view called OneCalendar. The free tier is limited, and the site lists 20 macros and 500 runs; the Pro and Dev editions are paid, so check the official site for current pricing and what each includes.
Macro Editor: write OneNote macros in a dedicated window, with code editing and run controls visible in the official screenshot
Debugger: when a macro misbehaves, the developer tools let you step through it, with code and debug information shown together
Batch File Import: the Batch File Import dialog takes several files at once and brings them into a OneNote notebook
OneCalendar: browse OneNote pages in a calendar, which makes finding notes by date easier
Free tier: the free tier covers 20 macros and 500 runs, and heavier use points to the Pro or Dev editions
