Description
Hundreds of photos need a date and a number in their names, a pile of documents needs one chunk stripped from every name, and afterwards everything still has to be dragged into different folders. Doing it one file at a time in Explorer is slow and error prone, and regular expressions mean learning a syntax first. OncePower puts batch renaming and file organizing in one window: no regex needed, pick a matching mode and edit file names with fine control, then move the files to their target folders by rule.
It is split into four tabs: Replace, Keep, Advanced and Organize. Replace and Keep cover everyday batch renames, Advanced breaks work into stackable delete, add and replace commands that can be saved as presets, and Organize sorts files into folders by group, type or date. The file list can be reordered by dragging, and the new name of each file shows beside the old one before you apply anything. The app is open source, built with Flutter, offers Chinese and English, runs on Windows 10 and later and on Linux, and comes as both an installer and a no install portable build.
Replace and Keep: rewrite names by matching, before, after or between text, or keep only the part you need, with a button that fills in today’s date and arrow keys to step it up or down
Dates, prefixes, suffixes and sequences: name files by creation or modified date, add prefixes and suffixes in bulk, even from the content of a text file, with adjustable digits and start values and separate numbering by type, extension or date
Advanced mode: stack delete, add and replace commands: remove the Nth match, a position or a character class, add text, a sequence, random values, image or video size and metadata, change case or convert between traditional and simplified Chinese, with regex available
Groups and presets: apply different naming rules to different groups of files, and save common command sets as presets that can be imported and exported
CSV naming and date editing: export names to CSV, edit them and import the file to rename in bulk, or shift file dates in order with a step
Organize files: move files into a target folder by group, type or date, flatten them into the top level folder, send selected files to the Recycle Bin and clear empty folders
Preview and records: preview images and videos in the list, save logs of names before and after, and keep your settings between runs once saving is on
Explorer context menu: once enabled, files can be sent to OncePower from the Explorer right click menu, and it pairs with launch at startup
