Description
In Delphi, building signal-processing or video-capture apps usually means gluing components together with hand-written event code, and every structural change sends you back through all of it.
OpenWire turns that glue into wires. Each component exposes input and output pins, and in the graphical editor you drag a line from pin to pin to connect the data flow, with little or no code. The library covers Delphi, C++ Builder, Lazarus and Free Pascal. Pins come in types with their own rules, so mismatched connections are refused at design time instead of failing at runtime.
Pin wiring: components can have several input and output pins, and dragging connections decides where data goes.
Graphical editor: build the processing chain visually inside the IDE and restructure it by moving a wire.
Typed pins: each pin type has its own dependencies and rules, so invalid links are blocked.
Multiple IDEs: works with Delphi, C++ Builder, Lazarus and Free Pascal, and accepts further component libraries.
Custom visual front ends: once the flow is wired, attach UI components and you have your own visual application.
