Inno Unpacker

Inno Unpacker

Inno Setup installer unpacker

Description

You grabbed an installer and you'd like to know what it will drop on your machine before you double-click it. Spinning up a virtual machine for every download gets old fast.

Inno Unpacker is built for installers made with Inno Setup. Drop one in and it shows what's inside and extracts the files without ever running the setup. It tells you whether the file really is an Inno Setup archive, which version built it, the compression used, how many files it holds and their combined size, and whether a compiled Pascal script is embedded, which is where installers keep their custom install-time logic. A command-line build, innounp, ships in the same download for scripted batch unpacking.

Features

Installer details: program name, version, copyright holder, Inno Setup version, and whether the archive is encrypted or has embedded resources.

File list: every file with its path, date and size, so you know what the installer would write before it writes anything.

Direct extraction: pick files and pull them out. No install run, no registry changes, no system folders touched.

Integrity check: verifies the installer is intact, which catches truncated downloads.

Multilingual UI: switchable interface language through the bundled language files.

CLI version: innounp can be dropped into batch files to unpack many installers automatically.
