Description
The drawing is rarely the annoying part of making app icons. It is the chores afterwards: a dark variant, a disabled state, exports to SVG, PNG and ICO, and code you can paste into React or SwiftUI. A general-purpose vector tool makes you detour by hand at every step. Axialis IconVectors is an SVG icon editor built around that exact workflow.
The canvas is designed for icon sizes: pixel grid, path nodes and boolean operations are tuned for small artboards like 24×24. The batch tools in 2.10 save the most time: select a whole SVG collection in the built-in Icon Explorer and run one of 14 validated batch commands to recolor, create variants or optimize file size, without opening files one by one.
It also ships a local MCP server with 166 tools, so an AI assistant can drive the editor and the Explorer directly, which is handy for tidying a large icon library. This is the portable build and runs after unpacking.
Path editing: Pen tool, anchors, boolean operations, plus gradients and shadows.
Multi-format export: SVG, XAML, React, Vue and SwiftUI code, plus PNG, ICO and ICNS bitmaps, a full set from one icon.
Live code preview: Watch the SVG source as you draw and copy it straight into your project.
Icon variants: Generate dark and disabled versions in one click; layers can be grouped, renamed and hidden.
Icon Explorer batch commands: Recolor, export and slim down an entire icon set, and sample any color on the desktop.
MCP automation: Let an AI client operate the editor over a local interface for repetitive icon housekeeping.
