Description
Keeping a Gmail tab open just to see whether anything new arrived, then switching over every few minutes only to find nothing, gets old fast. Notifier for Gmail moves that check into the browser toolbar: the number on the icon is your unread count, and a desktop notification pops up when mail lands, so you stop watching the inbox page.
Click the icon to read the sender, time and first lines of the latest message, then mark it read, archive it, delete it or flag it as spam right from the popup, without opening Gmail. Several accounts can be watched together and switched from the popup.
Unread badge: the toolbar icon shows the live unread count.
Popup preview: page through unread messages with sender, time and a snippet of the body.
Act in place: mark as read, archive, delete or report spam in the popup, plus refresh and a shortcut to the inbox.
Multiple accounts: switch between signed-in Gmail accounts from the top of the popup, each with its own unread count.
