Description
Staring at a white screen all day leaves your eyes dry and tired, and for people with dyslexia the text on it seems to swim. Lowering the brightness only makes everything blurry, so ColorVeil takes another route: it lays a translucent color filter over every application, leaving brightness alone while the screen's base tone softens.
Both the color and the opacity are adjustable, say a pale yellow or light blue tint, until reading feels easiest. A color prescribed by an optometrist can be matched too. Each monitor gets its own setting, and a single toggle turns the filter on or off to return to true colors. The x64 installer is only 180 KB and the app is free.
Global filter:A colored layer over every program, whether you are in a browser or Word.
Adjustable color and opacity:Pick the tint and its strength to find what suits your eyes.
Optometrist prescriptions:Set the color an optometrist recommends.
Multiple monitors:Configure the filter separately for each screen.
One-click toggle:Switch it off for true colors and back on when you need it.
