Digisensus Recorder
Free open-source Mac call recorder with AI notes
Description
In a meeting you either sneak a recording bot into Zoom or scribble notes and reconstruct who said what afterwards. Digisensus Recorder records on your Mac, so no bot joins the call and nobody sees an extra participant.
It records Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, FaceTime, WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack and iPhone calls answered on the Mac. Your microphone and the other side are kept as separate channels, so transcripts split you from them, and the summary lists decisions and next steps. Recordings are Ogg Opus files on your Mac and nothing is uploaded unless you ask for a transcript; you can also point it at your own OpenAI-compatible server. GPL licensed, macOS 15 or later.
Bot-free recording:Audio only from your Mac, no bot, no screen capture.
Auto start and stop:Begins when a call starts and ends when you hang up, with a visible banner.
Channel-split transcripts:You and them separated, with timestamps.
AI meeting notes:Decisions and next steps, via free daily credit or your own service.
Calendar and search:Browse by day, filter by app or tag, search every transcript.
Works with AI agents:Bundled recorder CLI and MCP server for Claude Code and Codex.
Local first:Files in ~/Music, nothing uploaded by default.
