Viewing OpenTelemetry traces during local debugging means deploying Jaeger or a whole observability stack. otel-gui is a lightweight local OpenTelemetry trace viewer that works out of the box.
It receives OTLP directly and shows call chains and timings on a timeline, great for development and AI app tracing.
