Reading papers in Obsidian scatters highlights and notes into other apps, and linking back to a PDF passage is hard. PDF++ is the most Obsidian-native PDF annotation and viewing plugin, turning highlights into linkable notes.
Annotations are stored as Obsidian links without modifying the PDF, with optional Vim keybindings.
