There is a DVB card in the PC, or a pile of IPTV sources, and no single player that can tune satellite, play network streams, record and time-shift all at once.
ProgDVB hooks all of it up in one program: DVB-S/S2, DVB-C, DVB-T/T2, ATSC and ISDB-T devices, IPTV and OTT streams, plus a built-in list of around eight thousand internet TV and radio channels. Two interfaces share one channel list and settings — ProgDVB is the full-featured classic UI, ProgTV is the modern remote-control/HTPC one; the author recommends ProgTV3 on Windows 10 and later.
The free edition covers watching and recording; the professional edition adds advanced extras.
