Description
You bought a pen tablet or a touchscreen laptop, only to find the good handwriting apps are paid or locked to their own formats, and scribbling straight onto a lecturer's PDF handout is a hassle. Xournal++ is an open source note app built for handwriting: take notes on lined or graph paper, open a PDF and annotate right on it, then export the result as PDF.
It is especially good for students and STEM work. Drop LaTeX formulas beside handwritten derivations, and record audio during a lecture so tapping any stroke later plays back what was being said at that moment.
Pressure-sensitive ink:Pen, highlighter and eraser with tablet and stylus pressure support for smooth strokes.
