ProjectLibre is free, open-source desktop project management built as an alternative to Microsoft Project. Tasks, durations, dependencies and resource assignments are all there in a familiar ribbon layout, and it opens and saves Project's .mpp files, so swapping plans with Project users just works.
It runs on Java, on Windows, macOS and Linux.
