Description
By the afternoon the tab strip is a row of favicons with no titles, finding the page you had open means scrubbing across all of them, and closing any of it feels risky. OneTab is one click: every open tab collapses into a single list page and the originals close, giving back the memory they were holding.
The list is just links, grouped by the batch they came from and stamped with the time. Click one and that page opens and leaves the list; restore the whole group if you prefer. A group you want to keep can be locked so restoring does not clear it, and named so you can tell it from the others.
One click to collapse: hit the toolbar icon and the window's tabs become a list page, leaving the browser with a single tab and dropping memory use immediately.
Restore what you need: clicking a link opens that page and removes it from the list, or restore the whole group at once with the order intact.
Lock and name groups: lock a group so it survives a restore, and give it a name — "to read" and "project A research" stop blurring together.
Share a group as a web page: export a group to a link anyone can open without installing anything, which beats pasting twenty URLs into a message.
The list stays local: it lives in the browser and is not uploaded; content only leaves when you explicitly choose to share a group as a web page.
