Scrapes and organizes metadata for a movie library
Description
A few hundred films on a drive, named like `Movie.2019.1080p.BluRay.x264-GROUP.mkv`, dropped into Kodi or Jellyfin — and the posters are blank, the plots are blank, and categorization comes down to guessing from folder names. tinyMediaManager fills that gap: it matches files against TMDb, IMDb and other sources and pulls back posters, stills, plots, cast, ratings and genres, writing them as NFO files and images beside the media so Kodi, Jellyfin, Emby or Plex pick everything up on the next scan.
It covers TV as well, matching series by season and episode, and groups films into movie sets for a series. After scraping it can rename files and folders, replacing the release-group string with a tidy "Title (Year)" structure. The interface lists the library on the left with completion status and shows details on the right across poster, plot, cast and media-info tabs.
Java-based, running on Windows, macOS and Linux. The free version covers everyday scraping, with a paid Pro version for advanced features.
